Tessa Jowell was delighted and honoured to perform the official opening ceremony at The Elmgreen School in West Norwood. An absolutely fantastic new state-of-the-art building secondary school building.

Tessa had campaigned with local parents for a number of years to help create the first ever parent-promoted school in the country.
Tessa commented:"It is time to celebrate this fantastic new school that is brilliant addition to the West Norwood community it will serve.
"The Elmgreen School is a true and lasting testament to all the parents who campaigned tirelessly with me to see it built and who remain directly involved in this, the first parent promoted school in the country."
