UPDATE: Tessa Jowell welcomes decision on Herne Hill junction

Tessa Jowell has welcomed the granting of permission for works to improve the junction of Dulwich Road and Norwood Road in Herne Hill.

Her views (in full here) were available to members of the Planning Applications Committee together with her earlier observations, submitted as part of the consultation process - report here (Tessa's views are reproduced on page 17).

Summer 2007: 

Tessa Jowell has reaffirmed her support for plans to improve the busy road junction close to Herne Hill Railway Station.

Tessa has been joined representatives from across the political spectrum who support the new scheme.
